A picture says more than 1000 words...
which is why we show here some examples of analysis conducted with the FXA-method.
As we emphasize confidentiality in our cooperation, on principle we do not show images which would allow conclusions on certain persons, manufacturers or products.Sample images and analysis of the cervical spine:
Initial functional X-ray in Flexion
Visualization of the Range of Motion in the segment C3-4 with optional markers (yellow).
The RoM ( = 7.0°) and disk height is normal.
Altered segment C4-5 (low disk height) with normal Range of Motion (8.9°). Possible reason for the degeneration sign of the disk while showing normal RoM might be the fusion of the segment below.
Heavily altered segment C5-6, Rang of Motion reduced (RoM = 3.1°), fusion of the segment in process.
and Extension
C3-4 Center of Rotation (green dot in the middle).
Physiologic location in the middle, below the disk space.
The CoR of C4-5 (green) is within the physiologic range. Large translations of the landmarks LM3 and LM4 (left) in relation to the fixed marker suggest large strains, which are likely to accelerate the degeneration of the Anulus Fibrosus.
Pathologic location of the C5-6 Center of Rotation (green).
Indicates, together with the reduced RoM, towards a progressing fusion in this segment.Copyright © 2012 ACES GmbHto the top
